AI Tool Rank (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over your data.

What We Collect

Analytics (Plausible)

AI Tool Rank uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. The data collected is limited to:

  • Page views and referrer URLs
  • Browser and operating system type (aggregated)
  • Country-level location (derived from IP, not stored)

No individual user profiles are created. No data is shared with advertising networks. Plausible is fully GDPR-compliant by design.

Email Subscriptions (SendX)

If you subscribe to our newsletter or updates, we collect your email address via SendX. We use this solely to send you the content you signed up for. We will never sell your email address or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Affiliate Click Logs

When you click an affiliate link on AI Tool Rank, we log the click for commission tracking and fraud prevention purposes. These logs contain:

  • The destination URL clicked
  • Timestamp of the click
  • A hashed or anonymised session identifier

Affiliate click logs contain no personally identifiable information (PII). They are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted.

Cookies

AI Tool Rank does not set any first-party cookies. The only cookies that may be set on your device come from third-party affiliate networks when you click an outbound affiliate link (e.g., to track referrals). These third-party cookies are governed by those networks' own privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AI Tool Rank:

  • Vercel— hosting and CDN. May process request metadata (IP addresses) in accordance with Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • Plausible Analytics — cookieless, privacy-first analytics. No PII collected. See Plausible Privacy Policy.
  • SendX — email delivery for subscribers. Governed by SendX Privacy Policy.
  • Affiliate partners— when you click an affiliate link you may be subject to that partner's tracking and cookie policies.

Data Retention

  • Affiliate click logs: retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted.
  • Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
  • Analytics data:aggregated and anonymous; retained in accordance with Plausible's data retention policy.

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to deletion: request that we delete your personal data (e.g., your email address from our mailing list).
  • Right to opt-out:California residents may opt-out of the “sale” of personal information. We do not sell personal information, but you may contact us to confirm this.
  • Right to correction: request that we correct inaccurate data we hold about you.

Children's Privacy

AI Tool Rank is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of AI Tool Rank after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
